The American dark fantasy movie first released in 2014 returns this year with the sequel, Mistress Of Evil just as wickedly good as it was Once Upon a dream....
Directed by Joachim Rønning, and written by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster. Angelina Jolie reprises her titular role as Maleficent with Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville also returning to their previous roles. Harris Dickinson replaces Brenton Thwaites from the first film, and Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Skrein and Chiwetel Ejiofor joining the cast as new characters.
In the first movie a focus is placed on Maleficent's origins and follows the original Disney motion picture movie framework, what caused the infamous "spinning-wheel curse" and we see Maleficent portrayed in a positive light.
The song 'Season Of The Witch' by sets a delightfully fiendish background for the trailer.
The sequel, Mistress of Evil, picks up several years after Maleficent and shines a light on the complex relationship between Maleficent and the soon to be queen played by Elle Fanning.
